Brahminy Kite of Kuala Selangor

5 July, Kuala Selangor Nature Park.

  • Came across a pair of Brahminy Kites (Haliastur indus) local name Lang Merah, resting near the shoreline. Managed one shot  of one Kite before they flew off.

    In indonesian also known as Elang Bondol....
    The bird is symbol of Jakarta..You know???

    TQ Jakarta Birder. Sekurang-kurangnya baru saya tahu yang Helang ini simbolnya Jakarta. Memang burung yang hebat.
