Verditer Flycatchers

A pair of Verditer Flycatchers were happily  going about their daily routine, sallying for insects which were attracted to the garden lights at Jelai Resort. This rather confiding  female Verditer Flycatcher  came really close. She seemed curious as to why the group of people  were pointing their long lenses at her.

Verditer Flycatcher

A  male Verditer Flycatcher (Eumyias thalassina) with spectacular blue plumage. Tried to  catch them taking flying insects in mid air  but they were simply too fast for me. Different shades of blue depending on the lighting.
