While the Birds were Away

9th January 2010,  Kemensah, Selangor Killing time when bird activity was low. These were shot using the birding lens ( AFS 300mm  f4).  Please correct me if I’m wrong with the IDs. I’m quite surprised at how they turned out. Maybe this is something that I could explore further. Fire-Walking Lemons!

17th  December 2009, Kemensah, Selangor Been experimenting  taking macro shots with the AFS 300mm  lens. This lens has opened up   opportunities  for macro photography since the minimum  focusing distance is  only 1.45m – quite impressive. Saw a group of Lemon Migrant  Butterflies - Catopsilia pomona congregating on the cold remains of  an open fire.
