Another monkey from Kemensah, a Long-tailed Macaque (Macaca fascicularis) |

Above: He belongs to a group of Dusky Langurs / Leaf Monkeys which I often see hanging around the ATV park.
This was taken at a different location in Kemensah. I’m not sure whether she’s a Dusky Langur, the colour is different. Maybe a young Langur? Update: Identified as a White-thighed Surili |
Kuala Selangor Nature Park
Long-Tailed Macaques drying off while enjoying each other’s company. They are playing a game called ‘ I find your Kutu (flea), you find my Kutu’. I think we humans should try more of this, good for bonding! |
8 July 2009, FRIM Bidor, Perak
Sorry, there are no cowboys, just buffalos and beautiful birds. Stopped by Bidor to get pictures of the Eastern Cattle Egrets (Babulcus coromandus) which I missed during my earlier visit. This time I drove around and took photos from the car, it worked! Previously all the egrets fled and did not return after they saw me walking along the ex-mining pool. These Cattle Egrets looked relaxed and were enjoying the free ferry boat ride courtesy of the Water Buffalos. |
