Hiya, You like your Kingfishers, don't you? I trawled thru the different types and probably like the Black-capped one best. Fish must be terrified when they see those beaks looming overhead, like fighter planes. Silly idea, but those very bright, even gaudy colours, what do they look like from under water? Will the shiny surface and the ripples alter the visual impact? Diminish it even?
Hi Joco, You noticed! Kingfishers are my favourite. I still have to improve on the photos of the Black-Capped, they were long shots and highly cropped.
