A startled Hodgson’s Hawk Cuckoo flew across our path onto this tree. The narrow penultimate tail band differentiates it from the Malaysian Hawk-Cuckoo. A lifer.
My head is still spinning after going through the comparison they made between the 2 birds. I, myself, would be just satisfied that I got a large Cuckcoo Hawk. That's what I did. At the Telecom Loop, beside the Barbet Tree.
wow, you had an awesome trip up the Hill Station huh?
