Giving Me The Runaround: Bar-Throated Minla

27th March 2011, Gunung Ulu Kali, Genting Highland, Pahang

 

I’ve been to Gunung Ulu Kali three times over the last few weeks and I still  do not have a decent shot of this bird  to bring back. This day luck was on my side when two Minlas decided to  come out in the open.

    WOW! Certainly one of the best I have seen of this species. I just love image #3.

    Really nice and different from the one we get in Thailand. This subspecies looks much smarter with its blackish face.
