  | | Another lifer on the new trail, a Bamboo Woodpecker (Gecinulus viridis). I wonder whether they suffer from headaches after a day of hammering .

Congratulation on the new 'tok-tok' bird.
ReplyDeleteThat hammering activity don't cause concussions or headache, because there is cushion space (cartilage) between the beak and skull.The brain also can't move in very tight skull.
