Another lifer on the new trail, a Bamboo Woodpecker (Gecinulus viridis). I wonder whether they suffer from headaches after a day of hammering .
Congratulation on the new 'tok-tok' bird.That hammering activity don't cause concussions or headache, because there is cushion space (cartilage) between the beak and skull.The brain also can't move in very tight skull.

Heard the guy couple of times in Kemensah but never got him yet. Very rare bird!!!!
