Yellow-rumped Flycatcher

10th October 2009, Kemensah, Selangor

 

A lifer: A male Yellow-rumped Flycatcher (Ficedula zanthopygia). A beautiful flycatcher with striking colours.

  2. I have yet to see this migrant bird. The artile from BESG mention that this species is commonly seen around Malaysia and Singapore now, with pair and juvenile, maybe due to climate change.

  3. I miss out this one at Sungai Sidim Recreation Park 2 weeks ago.
    This morning I visited there again, no sign of it, maybe it has gone somewhere.....
