After three weeks since I started taking pictures of this young juvenile Blue-Eared Kingfisher, she has started to grow some blue feathers on the cheeks. The elder brother and the adult bird were nowhere to be seen today.
The blue eared K F must have left the nesting pond/site because the Juves is able to fend for it self.
