Olive-Backed Sunbird

31st August 2009, My house in Taman Melawati, Selangor

This male Olive-Backed Sunbird (Cinnyris jugularis) seemed to have lost his mate. He kept calling for her from this papaya tree, oblivious of my presence about 5ft away.

    Yen, it new ,depan rumah saja!.
    Haha then it must be a perfect shot because he's sitting on a natural perch- the papaya leaf.
    Looks like a piece of metal doesn't it? TQ all.
