Glad to have captured both male and female Siberian Thrushes before the season ends and the birds fly back North. Missed the male bird when I was in Fraser’s Hill a fortnight ago. Update: I was at Gunung Ulu Kali today 27 /03/11 and they were not seen. Maybe they’ve gone back!

She hopped across the road in front of us while walking round the Telekom loop. She didn’t seem intimidated by our presence as we got closer to her, we were able to get to about 12ft from her. I was later told by other birders that there were about 16 Siberian Thrushes near Green Acres earlier in the morning. This concludes my series from the trip to Fraser’s Hill. |
